Canada's new anti-spam legislation ("CASL") regulates the distribution of commercial electronic messages. To comply with the new law, Ismaili Business and Professionals Association ("IBPA"), an association existing under His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Canada ("Council"), is required to obtain your consent in order to send you these types of communications.
A "commercial electronic message" or "CEM" broadly means any electronic message which encourages participation in a commercial activity, whether or not done for the expectation of profit. This may include newsletters, publications, announcements, advertisements, invitations and other news or information provided by IBPA and/or the Council.
In order to send you information about our programming, services and other types of information over email which may qualify as CEMs and which are subject to CASL's requirements, we need your consent.
I understand that I can withdraw my consent for at any time by contacting the IBPA Administrator directly at email@example.com for unsubscribe requests relating to IBPA only or by contacting the Council's CASL Officer directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for unsubscribe requests relating to all Council's CEMs.
IBPA Canada (www.ibpacanada.com) is an initiative of the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for Canada
